Explora II will operate 25 journeys and 14 extended journeys between August 2024 and the end of April 2025
Bookings opened for Explora II’s inaugural sailings in summer 2024-25, which include 82 ports in 26 countries.

Some 25 journeys and 14 extended journeys take place between August 2024 and the end of April 2025 on Explora Journeys' second ship.

Among the destinations are the Mediterranean, Middle East, India, Indian Ocean and Africa, and it will be the first time visiting these regions for the line.

Last month, Explora unveiled details of Explora I’s maiden voyage from Southampton taking place in July.

Portfolio of destinations ‘constantly expanding’

‘This is a new chapter for the brand and we are extremely proud to unveil Explora II and these new itineraries,’ said Michael Ungerer, CEO, Explora Journeys. ‘Our portfolio of destinations is constantly expanding, and we look forward to welcoming guests on board…’

Explora II will cross the Mediterranean Sea to call at ports in Italy, Spain, Greece and its islands, Cyprus, Israel and Croatia. It will then pass through the Suez Canal to visit Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea and then onto the Arabian Gulf for the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

Explora II will then set sail to India, Seychelles and Maldives. From the Indian Ocean calls will follow in Mozambique, Tanzania, Madagascar, Kenya, Mauritius and South Africa.
