Bookings open for MSC Magnifica's 2026 world cruise

MSC Cruises has opened sales for its four-month 2026 world cruise to be operated by MSC Magnifica, which is set to travel 36,000 nmi and twice cross the Equator.

The vessel will visit 47 destinations in 32 countries on five continents, with overnight stays in San Francisco, Honolulu, Auckland, Sydney, Manila, Tokyo and Dubai. The journey will additionally include 46 full day calls. 

Bookings for MSC Magnifica’s 2025 world cruise opened in February.

Itinerary 

The new 119-day voyage gets underway on January 4, 2026 from the Italian port of Civitavecchia, with embarkation also available at Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona on January 5, 6 and 7 respectively. 

Caribbean, Central America and the Pacific 

The ship will cross the Atlantic Ocean from Europe, visit Caribbean islands, before sailing through the Panama Canal. 

The voyage then continues along the west coast of Central America with calls in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Mexico before the ship heads to San Francisco.

Crossing the Pacific Ocean, MSC Magnifica will call in Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia.  

Asia, Middle East

A range of countries in Asia will follow, including the Philippines, Japan, China, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia.   

MSC Magnifica will sail the Indian Ocean to the Gulf region of the Middle East, with stops in the United Arab Emirates and Oman, before heading back to the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal.
