Carnival opens more 2025 cruises including Alaska, trans-oceanic journeys
Carnival Cruise Line opened more 2025 sailings including Alaska on Carnival Spirit and Carnival Luminosa from Seattle and several Carnival Journeys such as Barcelona to Miami and Brisbane, Australia to Seattle via Japan.

Carnival Luminosa's Alaska sailings depart every Thursday from May 1 through Sept. 11, 2025. The ship cruises Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria, BC.
25-day trans-Pacific from Brisbane
Ahead of its Alaska season, Carnival Luminosa will depart Brisbane on April 3, 2025 for a 29-day trans-Pacific sailing to Seattle. The ship will call Okinawa, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Hakodate and Kushiro in Japan, as well as Whittier, Juneau and Ketchikan.
Carnival Spirit
Carnival Spirit's Alaska program consists of 21 weeklong cruises to Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Victoria. Cruises sail April 14 through Sept. 9, 2025. An eight-day itinerary on May 5 adds Icy Strait Point.
Bookended by Carnival Journeys
Ahead of its Alaska season, Carnival Spirit will offer two Carnival Journeys. A 14-day trans-Atlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami departs March 16, 2025 with calls at Málaga, Cádiz, Ponta Delgada (Azores) and Bermuda.
The second is a 15-day cruise from Miami to Seattle, departing March 30, transiting the Panama Canal and visiting Cartagena (Colombia), Puntarenas (Costa Rica) and Cabo San Lucas.
Carnival Spirit will conclude its Alaska season with a 10-day round-trip Carnival Journeys Alaska cruise that departs Seattle Sept. 16 for Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria.
Hawaii and Panama Canal
Then the ship operates a 15-day round-trip Carnival Journeys cruise to Hawaii from Seattle. Departing Sept. 26, this will visit Honolulu, Kahului (Maui), Nawiliwili (Kauai) and Hilo (Hawaii), as well as BC's Victoria.
Carnival Spirit will also sail from Seattle to New Orleans on a 16-day Panama Canal cruise that departs Oct. 11, 2025, with calls at Cabo San Lucas, Puntarenas and Cartagena.
