These will be Celebrity's first cruises in the region since 2014.

Celebrity Millennium will offer 12 sailings from late September through mid-December before embarking on a special 15-night Panama Canal crossing over the holidays.

Celebrity Millennium was recently transformed as part of the line’s extensive 'Celebrity Revolution' and now features eXhale bedding with cashmere mattresses; The Retreat, an exclusive area for suite guests offering a private sun deck, lounge and Luminae restaurant, with a menu by the renowned chef Daniel Boulud; a newly redesigned spa; and the Sunset Bar, offering some of the best views from the ship.

Follows Alaska season

'With Celebrity Millennium sailing the summer 2022 Alaska season, we saw an opportunity to then head south and bring our stunning ship to the LA region,' Celebrity President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said. 'As the ship has just completed a voyage of transformation, she will provide the perfect surroundings for West Coasters ready for their own exciting transformative getaway in 2022.'

The two Mexican Riviera itineraries include Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Ensenada.

Panama Canal

The Panama Canal journey will offer holiday traditions and the opportunity to ring in the New Year on board while visiting Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; Colón, Panama; and Cartagena, Colombia.
