Celebrity fleshes out Infinity's new summer Caribbean program

Celebrity Infinity will alternate weeklong eastern and western Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades
Celebrity Infinity will sail weeklong eastern and western Caribbean cruises from Port Everglades late June through November before heading to South America.

As earlier reported, the ship is being redeployed from Europe to the Caribbean, impacting sailings that would have run from mid-April through November.

The new cruises begin June 25. All will visit Bimini or Nassau in the Bahamas and Key West, Florida. In addition, eastern Caribbean sailings will visit Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, while the western route will also call at Belize City and Cozumel.

First two-ship full summer Caribbean season

Celebrity Infinity will join sister ship Celebrity Equinox, marking the first time Celebrity Cruises has offered two ships sailing a full summer Caribbean season from South Florida, according to President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo.

Then South America

After November, Celebrity Infinity will embark on a 14-night cruise to Rio de Janeiro and remain in South America for the austral summer season.
