Celebrity gets creative with after-dark Caribbean excursions

They're tailored for the overnight stays on more than 40 Caribbean sailings departing January 2016 and beyond. 

The new experiences are intended to take vacationers beyond the ordinary to capture what's special about each island, according to Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and ceo of Celebrity Cruises.

Other examples of 'Evenings Around the World' excursions include drifting along Aruba’s picturesque coastline to live Caribbean music on a sunset cruise and nighttime, horse-drawn carriage tours along winding cobblestone streets, past historical colonial mansions in Cartagena, Colombia.

Evening tours are also available in St. Maarten and Barbados.

Prices range from $45 to $239.
