Before Ocean Victory sails its first Alaska season for Victory Cruise Lines in 2022, the ship will operate a voyage from Costa Rica to San Diego, California.

This April 2022 'Pacific Paradise' journey will be 'the first opportunity for cruise aficionados to experience the new expedition vessel in North America and appreciate her unique X-BOW design firsthand, which ensures the most quiet and comfortable cruising,' a Victory spokesman said. 'We will also offer Victory Cruise Lines' first expedition experiences using our fleet of Zodiacs, exploring the Sea of Cortez and other stops along the Pacific Coast.'

15-day trip

The 15-day trip begins with a hotel overnight in San José, Costa Rica, before passengers embark at Puerto Caldera and Ocean Victory sails to Playas del Coco for snorkeling and canopy tours then on to Mexico. Stops there include Puerto Chiapas, Huatulco, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta and La Paz, in the wildlife-rich Sea of Cortez, and Cabo San Lucas before arriving at San Diego.

17-day southbound journey

After its summer of expedition cruises in Alaska, Ocean Victory in October 2022 will head south to California to embark on a 17-day trip to Costa Rica. This starts wih a hotel overnight in San Diego and features the same ports as the April trip.
