Costa Fortuna set sail from Athens today on a new summer 2024 itinerary dedicated exclusively to Greece and Turkey.

Until September 13, the Costa Cruises vessel will depart every Friday from Piraeus, Greece to Istanbul in Turkey and the Greek islands of Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes and Santorini.

On some departures there will be a second call in Turkey, at Bodrum, or at the Greek island of Kos, instead of Rhodes.

The sailing will feature the ‘Sea Destinations’ concept – on board experiences designed to celebrate the cities and islands where the ship will call.

Destination highlights

In Athens, in addition to the city's most iconic sites, there will be the chance to traverse the Corinth Canal, passing through rocky gorges and vertical walls, to the ancient city of Corinth.

Istanbul will be explored from different perspectives, including by boat on the Bosphorus.

in Mykonos, a local farming family will take Costa Fortuna passengers on a discovery of rural traditions and recipes for local dishes, accompanied by a sunset barbecue.

In Bodrum there is a tour in a ‘gulet,’ a typical local boat, while in Santorini guests can attend a lunch with traditional plate throwing.
