The sailings are described by Costa as ‘a voyage within a voyage.’

Western Mediterranean

For example, once on board Costa Toscana after visiting Ibiza, passengers can join a 'chiringuito’ style bay of Formentera sunset party, with the best music from the island's DJs. Or, before disembarking Costa Smeralda to visit Naples, passengers can have a typical Caprese breakfast in front of the panorama of the Faraglioni rocks of Capri island, illuminated by the first light of day.

Eastern Mediterranean

Whirling dervishes will make an appearance during a crossing of the Dardanelles Strait on board Costa Fortuna at sunset, while a trip ashore in Venice will be followed by a typical Venetian aperitif and music on board Costa Deliziosa.

Northern European

After passengers are greeted by local farmers in the town of Geiranger, Costa Diadema will cruise the entire Geiranger Fjord accompanied by Nordic stories and legends, the Seven Sisters waterfall, rocks and mountains visible from the bow of the vessel.

The Sea Destinations programme also includes a light show, French breakfast, star gazing, a wine experience and a jungle pool party amid giant sculptures and golden cages – each one connected with a destination on the itinerary.
