The 2023-2026 plan also aims to better equip and enable the industry to adjust to unforeseen circumstances, while strengthening collaboration between those in the network and with stakeholders externally.

Accelerating transition

‘It is when we join forces that we can make a real difference,’ said Klaus Bondam, director, Cruise Baltic. ‘This is reflected in our new strategy that aims to inspire our partners and stakeholders to connect, collaborate and share knowledge under common values and goals for a sustainable and responsible cruise tourism. Together, we can accelerate the transition of the cruise industry.’

Showcasing every region

Over 30 ports and destinations in the Baltic Sea region have joined forces to support the strategy. They will work on strengthening the narrative of the region, showcasing the diversity of each destination in order to regain their market share.
