Port of Kristiansand: one of the Cruise Baltic destinations that already have available onshore power supply, as shown on its website
Cruise Baltic expanded the port information on its website to include an overview of shore power availability at ports in the Baltic Sea region.

The overview provides technical details such as maximum power provided and the hook-up fee, enabling cruise lines to compose sustainable itineraries based on the information.

Creating transparency

‘Many ports and cruise lines have already shown a great commitment to the green transition of the cruise industry by investing in shore power systems,’ said Ida Katrine Skaarup, manager, Cruise Baltic. ‘With the overview we hope to create transparency and provide the cruise lines with the tools to strengthen their commitment to the use of onshore power supply to an even greater extent.’

Cruise Baltic continuously updates the website information.
