Over 20 lines offer sailings via Dover, which will record six inaugural calls in 2024 and days with three ships in port simultaneously.

Fred. Olsen returning

Wright said, ‘There is no doubt that 2024 will be an unforgettable year for us. We eagerly await the return of all our cruise lines and can’t wait to welcome those that are visiting us for the first time…’

Dover handles hundreds of thousands of passengers each year, including for turnarounds.

Clare Ward, director of product and customer service, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, remarked, ‘We are delighted to be returning to Dover once again, with five cruises setting sail to beautiful destinations including Norway, Iceland, Portugal and the Azores this summer…’

New marina

The re-developed Dover waterfront is home to a new marina and surrounding recreational areas of the Marina Curve and Clocktower Square, which will host an entertainment programme throughout spring and summer.

Dover has good transport links, including to London, and offers the quickest sea crossing to Europe from the UK.
