Egypt

Departing January 28, 2022 on a round-trip from Jordan’s coastal city of Aqaba, the vessel will call at Egypt’s Nuweibah, Hurghada, Safaga and Sharm el-Sheikh before travelling to Eilat in Israel.

Highlights include the chance to discover the history of Sinai's St. Catherine’s Monastery, a glass-bottom boat trip in Sharm el-Sheikh's Naama bay, and the opportunity to participate in a guided visit and eco-experience of Kibbutz Lotan and Neot Smadar, which offer picturesque landscapes in Israel’s Eliat.

Greece/Turkey

Departing May 7, Emerald Azzurra will embark on an eight-day Greece and Turkish coastline itinerary, sailing the southeastern Aegean Sea to call at Greek, Dodecanese and other surrounding islands. From Rhodes, the vessel will sail Amorgos and Mykonos, to Bodrum and Kuşadasi in Turkey.

Passengers will have the chance to hike to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Monastery of St. John, and cave of the apocalypse on the Aegean island of Patmos.

On Turkey’s western coast a sightseeing bike tour of Kusadasi will be available to passengers.

Other optional excursions include a farmers' market visit, a cooking class on how to create Bodrum cuisine or a guided scuba diving experience in Rhodes.

EmeraldDISCOVERY and EmeraldPLUS

Two new programmes, EmeraldDISCOVERY and EmeraldPLUS, will allow passengers to choose itineraries and excursions more deeply inspired by local culture. The latter comprises an exclusive concert in a Croatian church, a mussel-cooking demonstration and tasting in a restaurant in Albania, and the chance to meet locals in Istanbul.

Health and hygience

Currently under construction in Vietnam, Azzurra will measure 110-mtr/360-ft and possess broad space in dining areas, as well as balconies or terraces in 88% of suites and staterooms.

According to Darren Birch, brand manager, Emerald Cruises, the cruise line has 'seen a steady increase in demand for future sailing dates over the past few weeks.’

Super Earlybird offer

Savings of up to 30 per cent on selected cabins and itineraries, a complimentary deposit protection plan and a flexible booking policy will apply to bookings made between November 13 and December 24, 2020.
