Emerald Azzurra adds Saudi Arabia calls to Red Sea inaugural season

Emerald Azzurra, debuting early next year, will visit Saudi Arabia on two new Red Sea voyages.

The first custom-built ocean superyacht from Emerald Cruises is following in the wake of another Scenic Group ship, Scenic Eclipse, which started sailing in the Red Sea this month with Saudi calls.

Al Wahj stopover for AlUla 

100 passenger Emerald Azzura will sail from Limassol in February 2022 on a 10 day Red Sea itinerary  finishing in Jeddah. En-route, guests will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx from Port Said, sail through the Suez Canal, and stops at Sharm El-Sheikh, Petra, and Al Wahj for access to AlUla Saudi Arabia’s first World Heritage Site home to the tombs of Hegra.

A second longer 12 day itinerary sails from Jeddah on March 18 with calls at Al Wahj, Duba, Aqaba and Sharm-el Sheik, as well as Ain Sokhna - the nearest beach resort to Cairo, Crete, Santorini and Athens.
