Paul Gauguin Cruises celebrated 25 years in French Polynesia with festivities aboard its namesake ship.

Hervé Gastinel, CEO of parent company Ponant, and Capt. Ceremony attendees and passengers on the current voyage were treated to a traditional show by O Tahiti E under the direction of Marguerite Lai, followed by fireworks.

250,000 travelers carried

Mercadal noted each island visited was able to benefit by the ship's calls, and he thanked Ponant for continuing to believe in the destination.

Capt. Quioc credited the 'dedication of our devoted onboard family who bring "The Gauguin Experience" to life every day with heartfelt passion." He also recognized several crew members for their 25 years of 'exemplary hospitality.'

Paul Gauguin Cruises offers all-inclusive voyages of seven to 20 nights throughout French Polynesia and the South Pacific. Itineraries feature multiple overnights in legendary isles such as Bora Bora, Moorea and Tahiti.
