Fred. Olsen reveals 2023 Adriatic and Arctic itineraries

In the Arctic, passengers will see whales and puffins and encounter the Midnight Sun
Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Borealis and Bolette will sail the Adriatic and Arctic respectively next year.

The announcement comes ahead of the launch of Fred. Olsen's full summer 2023 schedule, which is set to be released in mid-March.

‘Borealis will be the perfect host for our Adriatic sailing, offering views of the breath-taking Amalfi coast, Capri and the Bay of Kotor that can only be seen from the water,’ explained Martin Lister, head of itinerary planning and destination experience, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. ‘Ashore, there will be opportunities to discover the stunning architecture and the history and influence that helped shape it.'
 
He added, ‘Meanwhile, in the Arctic, guests can gain an insight into the local way of life, witness whales, puffins and birdlife in their natural habitat whilst taking in unspoilt scenery and the phenomenon that is the Midnight Sun.’

Adriatic
On May 22, 2023 Borealis will embark on a  25-night ‘Renaissance Italy, the Adriatic & Amalfi Coast’ itinerary, sailing round-trip from Liverpool calling: Cartagena, Spain; Livorno, Tuscany, Italy; Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy; Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Italy; cruising by Capri; Amalfi, Italy; cruising the Amalfi Coast; cruising Strait of Messina; Venice, Italy; Zadar, Croatia; Split, Croatia; cruising Bay of Kotor; Kotor, Montenegro;  Dubrovnik, Croatia; Valletta, Malta; Málaga, Spain. Prices start from £3,999 per person.

Arctic
On June 1, 2023, flagship Bolette will sail ‘off-the-beaten-track’ destinations in the Arctic. The 23-night sailing will offer opportunities to experience the Midnight Sun and provide passengers a scenic view of fjords, glaciers and mountainous landscapes. Passengers will also explore some of the most remote locations in Norway and Iceland. Passengers may receive £250 per person to spend on board, or free door-to-door transfers of up to 200mi for those travelling to the port from mainland UK.
