Fred. Olsen to sail the Caribbean after more than three-year hiatus
Borealis will sail the waters of the Caribbean this winter, marking Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ return to the region after more than three years.
It will be Borealis' first journey to the Caribbean.
The ship will take passengers to several islands, including the lesser-known Bequia, and Antigua, home to 365 beaches and historic landmarks such as Nelson’s Dockyard.
Passengers will also be able to uncover sugar cane history aboard the St Kitts Scenic Railway during the call into Basseterre, and sample Caribbean rum at Barbados’ Mount Gay Distillery – believed to be the oldest working distillery in the world.
Guest speakers
During the voyage, guest speakers and geologists will share their knowledge of volcanic islands and beaches, as part of Fred. Olsen’s’ Itinerary Insights experience.

Olsen’s head of itinerary planning and destination experience, Martin Lister, said, ‘We are thrilled to be sailing back to the Caribbean this winter and showcasing the best of the islands to our guests.
