Celebrity Cruises will bring passengers to locations featured in the Game of Thrones HBO television series next year.

The 11-night ‘Iceland and Ireland’ sailing from Southampton will allow passengers to take a glacier safari from Akureyri to visit the vast landscapes shown in the series or participate in the ‘Trip to Winterfell’ shore excursion, which involves a scenic coach ride to Castle Ward Estate in Northern Ireland plus medieval archery in Game of Thrones dress.

Departing August 29, 2023 Celebrity Silhouette will also call: Seydisfjordur, Reykjavik, Iceland Belfast, Northern Ireland and St. Peter Port, Guernsey.

Italy, Croatia and Montenegro

Celebrity Beyond’s 10-night Italy, Croatia, and Montenegro cruise on July 28, 2023 will bring passengers to Game of Thrones’ most prominent filming locations, including Dubrovnik. Passengers will see the site of the ‘King’s Landing’ – as shown in the series. A 15 minute ferry ride from the walled city is the ‘Iron Throne’ on the Island of Lokrum.

The line’s newest ship sails roundtrip from Rome (Civitavecchia), to Olympia, Katakolon, Corfu, Greece, Dubrovnik, Croatia, Kotor, Montenegro, Sicily, Messina, Naples, Florence/Pisa, Livorno, Italy.

Portugal, Spain and Malta

Next year, Celebrity Apex will visit Portugal, Spain and Malta as part of a 12-night voyage departing from Amsterdam, Netherlands on September 14. The ship will call Bordeaux, La Rochelle, France, Lisbon, Portugal, Seville, Cadiz, Cartagena, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Valletta, Malta, concluding in Piraeus, Athens, Greece. A visit to The Alcázar of Seville (the Royal Palace) – another location for the successful series - serves as a highlight.
