'We’re seeing strong interest for next summer’s Alaska season as people anticipate being able to get out again, travel and spend time with family and friends,' HAL President Gus Antorcha said, adding the line is 'ready to return with plenty of options for everybody from couples to multigenerational families.'

The season stretches from April through September.

Seattle, Vancouver, Whittier departures

Travelers can sail aboard Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Oosterdam and Volendam on round-trips from Seattle or Vancouver, BC, or one way between Whittier and Vancouver.

Holland America offers the most itineraries with Glacier Bay National Park of any big-ship line. Every cruise includes a visit to one or more iconic glacier destinations: Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier and the Twin Sawyer Glaciers of Tracy Arm.

New in 2021

The Pinnacle-class Koningsdam returns to Alaska with seven-day Inside Passage itineraries round-trip from Vancouver and Land+Sea Journeys. New for 2021 are seven-day 'Glacier Discovery Northbound' and 'Glacier Discovery Southbound' cruises between Whittier and Vancouver aboard Nieuw Amsterdam and Noordam. These include two glacier experiences — Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier or College Fjords — and call at Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway.

Seven-day Inside Passage cruises operate round-trip from Vancouver aboard Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam and Volendam to Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway.

Seven-day 'Alaskan Explorer' itineraries sail round-trip from Seattle aboard Eurodam and Oosterdam, visiting Victoria, BC; Ketchikan, Juneau and Sitka.

Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam and Volendam will offer Land+Sea Journeys ranging from nine to 18 days.

Land+Sea experiences

Fifteen different Land+Sea Journeys combine a three-, four- or seven-day cruise with an inland exploration to spend more time — up to three nights — at Denali National Park and Preserve. Holland America is the only line that extends land tour options all the way to Dawson City, the heart of the Klondike Gold Rush, and the unspoiled reaches of the Yukon Territory. Every journey includes a train ride on HAL's glass-domed McKinley Explorer.
