Its attractions include a town hall dating from 1798 and Hamina Fortress - a star fort built in the 18th century.

Baltic Network expansion

‘Hamina and its surrounding area have a lot to offer for cruise guests and is an exciting destination that complements the other Baltic destinations well,’ offered Claus Bødker, director, Cruise Baltic.

The network now comprises 31 destinations across the region.

Mayor of Hamina, Hannu Muhonen, added, ‘Hamina is ideally placed close to the Port of HaminaKotka… It has been twenty years since we last welcomed cruise ships in our town, so we are very much looking forward to now being able to welcome cruise guests again.’
