It was the first international cruise ship to visit the port since China restarted international cruising in 2023.

More than 1,100 passengers

More than 1,100 passengers from 30 countries arrived aboard Zuiderdam over the weekend before the ship continued on to Tianjin Monday.

Liaoning Port Group, the operator of Dalian port, said it will collaborate with cruise lines and travel agencies to 'seize the market opportunities and accelerate the cruise industry development of Dalian port.'
