The ship has been chartered by South Australian family-owned company Choose Your Cruise that has been operating music-themed cruises since October 2011.

Among the stars joining Carreras on the ‘Bravo! Cruise of the Performing Arts 2017’ voyage is Australian soprano Marina Prior whose musical theatre career includes leading roles in The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Les Miserables and Anything Goes.

Passengers aboard Radiance of the Seas will  be privileged to hear one of the final performances of Carreras, one of The Three Tenors with Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo, who is embarking on his farewell world tour in 2017.

‘Singing on a cruise around the South Pacific is one of the few things I have yet to do as a concert artist, Carreras said. ‘I am hugely looking forward to this new experience.’

Fares for ‘Bravo! Cruise of the Performing Arts 2017,’ which visits Isle of Pines and Noumea and returns to Sydney November 7, start from A$2,614 per person twin-share for an inside stateroom.
