MedCruise and AIVP build sustainable port-city working group

CRUISE_MoU.jpg
It follows the signing of an MoU by the two bodies earlier in the year
NGO AIVP and MedCruise have created a joint working group to help improve the way port cities and cruises coexist, and plan for a more sustainable future.

Best practices will be shared by the two as they look at the balance between port activities, cruises, and the aspirations of citizens, while identifying challenges and risks that can slow down the implementation of good practices.

The group also seeks to improve relationships with local governments, pressure groups, NGOs, national bodies or other actors in the cruise-port city arena.

Memorandum of understanding

The announcement follows the signing of an MoU between MedCruise and AIVP in April this year.
