Miami extends lay berth/harbor fees waiver for cruise line partners

Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez extended the waiver of lay berth and harbor fees for cruise line partners an additional 30 days.

The new extension runs through Sept. 10, subject to availability at PortMiami.

'The cruise industry continues to be heavily impacted by the effects of COVID-19,' Gimenez said. 'We will continue to stand by our cruise partners through this difficult time.'
