Addressing a Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association directors meeting, Rolle said MSC is in on the talks, according to a report today in The Tribune.

This pertains to a long-planned redevelopment of the harbor, a project under discussion with the port authority and the Freeport Harbour Co., part of Hutchison Whampoa.

Expanded cruise berthing

Expanded cruise berthing, improved multimodal transportation and a water-based attraction are understood to be among the considerations.

MSC Cruises did not immediately confirm the report on Friday, and Michael Bayley, president/CEO Royal Caribbean International, earlier this week had no comment during an interview with Seatrade Cruise News.
