The vessel will sail to Italy, Croatia, Greece and Montenegro
MSC Splendida became the fifth MSC Cruises vessel to resume operations, sailing from homeport Trieste over the weekend at the start of its seven-night East Mediterranean itinerary.

Calls in Italy, Croatia, Greece and Montenegro

MSC Splendida will sail to the recently added Ancona, Italy, making its way to Dubrovnik, Croatia; Bari, Italy; Corfu, Greece; and Kotor in Montenegro or Split in Croatia before returning to Trieste.

Appealing to Schengen passengers

Passengers can embark from Venice airport or Ancona and Bari, Italy.

Four daily transfer shuttles for MSC Cruises’ passengers will run from Venice’s Marco Polo airport, plus one from the city centre to the cruise terminal in Trieste. Germany, Austria and Switzerland also have good ground transport links to Trieste.

The latest MSC Cruises’ vessel to return to sailing

MSC Grandiosa and MSC Seaside are sailing in the West Mediterranean, MSC Orchestra is operating in the East Mediterranean and flagship MSC Virtuosa is cruising in the UK, exclusively for British passengers.

MSC Magnifica will resume sailings on June 20 from Italy for sailings in the East Mediterranean, while MSC Seaview will restart on July 3 from Kiel, Germany, for sailings in the Baltic Sea to Sweden and Estonia.

MSC Seashore makes its maiden voyage at the end of July in the West Mediterranean.
