Nassau Cruise Port welcomed 28,554 passengers Monday in a new record for the expanded facility, with six ships alongside.

The ships were Royal Caribbean International's Wonder of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas, Carnival Cruise Line's Mardi Gras, Celebrity Reflection, Celebrity Beyond and MSC Meraviglia.

Plus 10,302 crew

The figure does not include the crew count, which adds 10,302 people to the total cruise visitor count.

Nassau Cruise Port is scheduled to hold its grand opening at the end of May with a weekend of private events featuring local and international entertainment.
