Nassau Cruise Port hosts six ships on two consecutive days

Nassau Cruise Port reached a milestone in handling six ships on two consecutive days, Dec. 5 and 6.

This made a two-day total of 41,000 passengers arriving on some of cruising's biggest and newest vessels. 

Monday's lineup included two Royal Caribbean Oasis-class ships, Wonder of the Seas and Harmony of the Seas, along with Explorer of the Seas, Carnival Elation, Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Beyond. Together the ships carried more than 21,000 passengers.

On Tuesday four more Royal Caribbean ships arrived — Independence of the Seas, Enchantment of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas, along with Disney Wish and Carnival Liberty. The passenger count tallied 19,959.
