Navimeteo opens an office in Falmouth, Cornwall

Chiavari, Italy-based Navimeteo, experts in marine weather data and routing analysis, opened a UK office to better serve their international client base.

The office is situated in the Tremough Innovation Centre on the University of Exeter Tremough Campus.

Partnership for innovation

Through a partnership with Falmouth University, Navimeteo can further integrate current technological services with innovative research and development in forecasting capabilities and software/hardware advances.

The Navimeteo team analyses weather events and produces voyage reports, putting safety first with expert human technical input in every forecast.

They are the official weather and marine operations provider for more than 50 ports and marinas, work with cruise operators including MSC Cruises, Saga and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, and support more than 140 superyachts worldwide.

New staff members Ben Grigg and Tim Sykes in the Falmouth office complement Navimeteo’s weather centre in the Mediterranean by taking the lead on innovative projects from the UK.
