NCL's Norwegian Spirit and Norwegian Sun to make Asia debut in 2021

Norwegian Sun, in her first visit to Asia, will sail from Hong Kong to Okinawa to coincide with the Chinese New Year season
Norwegian Spirit and Norwegian Sun will arrive in Asian waters for the first time next year.

Norwegian Sun

Norwegian Sun will sail year-round in the region from October 2021, calling at several new destinations including Muara in Brunei, along with Manila and Coron in the Philippines. 

The vessel will embark on a 10-day round-trip cruise from Tokyo, departing November 9, 2021, calling at Mount Fuji, Nagoya, Kyoto, Beppu, Nagasaki, Kagoshima, Japan; and Busan, South Korea.

Departing January 28, 2022 from Hong Kong the ship will then sail on a five-day round-trip to Naha, Okinawa, while five-night round-trips from Hong Kong to Okinawa will coincide with Chinese New Year season, from January 28 to February 2, 2022. 

An 11-day cruise from Hong Kong to Bangkok will leave on February 2, 2022 calling at Manila and Coron, Philippines; Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia; Muara, Brunei; and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. On February 13, the ship will take another 11-day cruise from Bangkok to Singapore, stopping at Ko Samui, Thailand; Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and Melaka, Langkawi, Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Norwegian Sun will sail Bangkok to Hong Kong on March 7 to Singapore with an overnight stay, calling at Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Hue/Da Nang and Hanoi, Vietnam.

A 12-day cruise from Hong Kong to Tokyo will leave March 18, calling at Taipei, Taiwan; and Naha, Miyakojima, Kochi, Himeji, Kyoto and Nagoya, Japan.

Norwegian Spirit 

Norwegian Spirit will embark on a 14-day cruise from Dubai to Singapore, November 22, 2021 with port stops that include Mumbai, Goa, Mangalore and Cochin, India; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Phuket, Thailand; and Langkawi, Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

Sailing December 6, 2021 the vessel will then travel for 17 days from Singapore to Sydney, calling Semarang, Surabaya, Bali (overnight) and Komodo, Indonesia, and Darwin, Cooktown, Cairns, Airlie Beach and Brisbane, Australia.

A 10-day cruise departs Bali to Hong Kong on April 9, 2022 calling at Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Hue/Da Nang and Hanoi; a 12-day cruise from Tokyo to Hong Kong will leave May 8 for Mount Fuji and overnight in Kyoto, Japan; and Beijing, Shanghai and overnight in Hong Kong.

A shorter five-day round-trip from Hong Kong to Japan will leave September 30, 2022 with Ishigaki, Naha and Okinawa on the itinerary.

An eight-day Tokyo round trip will depart April 30, 2022 with stops including Yokohama, Tokyo, Japan, Taipei, Keelung, Taiwan, Ishigaki, Japan and Miyakojima, Okinawa, Japan. 

Norweigan Cruise Line Holdings just announced that NCL, Oceania and Regent restarts would be delayed.
