New responsibilities for Puttich as TUI Cruises unifies ground and port operations
TUI Cruises is unifying its ground and port operations at its Hamburg-based HQ, with Marcus Puttich, head of port operations adding ground handling responsibilities to his portfolio from June 1, 2017 as the current head of ground operations Laura Krell is leaving the business.
Puttich joined TUI Cruises at the beginning of 2014. Krell who has been with TUI since 2011 was promoted to the head of ground handling at the beginning of 2016. She is handing over her responsibilities step by step to Puttich and the team, before departing in mid-May.
Puttich reports to Tine Oelmann, director port operations, shore excursions & ground operations who called the move, 'a logic decision to unify both departments'.
TUI Cruises' newest ship Mein Schiff 6 will be inaugurated in May and older Mein Schiff 1 and 2 will be replaced by newbuilds Mein Schiff 1 and 2, currenty under construction and arriving in 2018 and 2019.
