NYC to host 2024 Cruise Canada/New England Symposium

The event is expected to bring together 200 attendees, including CEOs, managing directors and other decision-makers from ports, tourism offices, local suppliers and cruise lines.

Elements that will shape programming include the industry’s commitment to decarbonization, local sourcing for economic impact, educational partnerships, sustainability initiatives and business alliances.

Third time hosting

New York, which welcomed 1.4m cruise passengers in 2023, previously hosted the Cruise Canada/New England Symposium in 2016 and 2011.

Last year's event was held in Québec City.

Cruise Canada/New England partners include NYCruise, Flynn Cruiseport Boston, Cruise Atlantic Canada and Cruise the Saint Lawrence.
