P&O Cruises launches new itineraries, includes 2022/23 fly cruises and world cruise

Two alternating seven-night Canary Islands fly cruises from Tenerife on board Azura are being offered by P&O Cruises for 2022/23 – a first for the cruise line – with South America sailings and a 99-night world cruise also available.

Canary Islands

Departing from and returning to Tenerife, and including flights to and from the UK, Azura will call at Madeira, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote from November 18, 2022.

On December 9, 2022, the ship will sail Madeira, La Palma, Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Madeira, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote as part of a 14-night journey departing from and returning to Tenerife, also including flights to and from the UK.

Newest vessels

Iona, which joins the P&O Cruises fleet this summer, will sail a winter 2022 season of Spain, Portugal and Canary Islands cruises, featuring overnight calls in Lisbon or Barcelona as well as European city breaks.

On November 12, Arvia will begin its 14-night Canary Islands maiden voyage, departing from and returning to Southampton, calling Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Seville (from Cadiz) and Lisbon (for two days.) A Canary Islands Christmas and New Year cruise follows, before a season of seven and 14-night Caribbean fly/cruises from home port Barbados and new turnaround port, Antigua.

South America

On January 6, 2023 Aurora will begin its first 65-night circumnavigation of South America.

Departing from and returning to Southampton, ports of call include: Tenerife, St Vincent, Salvador, Búzios, Rio de Janeiro (two days), Montevideo (two days), Port Stanley, cruise around Cape Horn, cruise through Beagle Channel, cruise through Magellan Straits, Punta Arenas, cruise by Amalia Glacier, cruise by PIO XI glacier, Santiago (from San Antonio - two days), Coquimbo, Arica, Lima (from Callao - two days), Manta, Fuerte Amador, transit Panama Canal, Cartagena, Aruba, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, St Maarten and Ponta Delgada, Azores.

World Cruise

A 99-night voyage on Arcadia departs January 3, 2023 calling Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Tauranga New Zealand, and Kuala Lumpur (from Port Kelang) as part of the ship's world cruise.

Ventura and Britannia

Ventura will sail short European breaks to Hamburg, Bruges (from Zeebrugge) and Amsterdam plus ex-UK Caribbean holidays.

Fly-Caribbean holidays will be available on P&O Cruises’ flagship Britannia.

Flexible bookings

‘All our winter 2022 holidays are available with flexible booking terms, 5% low deposit, plus the opportunity to spread the cost monthly at no additional cost,’ said Ludlow.

Double on board spending money is available on Azura’s Canary Islands holidays booked before June 1, 2021.
