Mediterranean / Norwegian fjords

New ship Arvia, which joins the fleet in December, will offer two 14-night Western Mediterranean itineraries from April 28, 2024 each with six ports of call. One will comprise Italy, Spain and France with calls to La Spezia (for Florence and Pisa) and Barcelona, while the other will consist of Spain and France with calls to Barcelona and Valencia.

Malta will be the homeport for Azura’s summer season of seven- and 14-night fly/cruise holidays which begin April 18, 2024. The Western Mediterranean itineraries include a call to Civitavecchia for Rome and to Monte Carlo from Villefranche. The Eastern Mediterranean route includes selected calls to Ephesus from Kusadasi and the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini. Central Mediterranean itineraries include calls to Trieste for Venice and a new southern Adriatic itinerary features Taranto, Catania and the Greek Ionian islands of Kefalonia and Corfu.

Britannia’s summer 2024 programme will involve seven-night Norwegian fjords and 14-night Western Mediterranean island cruises to the Balearics with extended calls in Palma and Ibiza, and one itinerary including Cagliari in Sardinia. These incorporate new shore excursions, with visits to beach clubs, off the beaten track vineyards, adrenaline activities and the countryside of Ibiza available.

Tangier and Casablanca will be part of Aurora’s 18-night Western Mediterranean cruise in April next year, while the ship’s Arctic Circle cruise in October 2024 includes Iceland and the North Cape and the chance to see the Northern Lights.

Iona will continue to spend the summer season in the Norwegian fjords offering seven-night cruises calling at the world heritage port of Geiranger, as well as Olden and Ålesund from April 20, 2024.

Short breaks and ‘discovery’ itineraries

Short breaks to Amsterdam are part of Ventura’s summer programme, in addition to 14-night Canary Islands breaks. These include longer periods in the ports of Lisbon and Amsterdam to make the most of the capital cities.

Both Aurora and Arcadia will offer longer ‘discovery’ itineraries, with Arcadia sailing a 16-night Iceland cruise in June 2024 with an overnight call in Reykjavik and a 30-night Canada & USA cruise in September next year, with overnight calls in Boston and New York. Aurora will also embark on short, three-night voyages from May 15, 2024 calling at Zeebrugge for Bruges.
