The current rate at the Erato Street Cruise Terminal and the Julia Street Cruise Terminal is $16 per day.

The port's cruise division was instructed to increase the parking rate following the budget presentation for fiscal 2016 to the board of commissioners.

'While we strive to keep costs down, we have not experienced an increase in the daily rate since 2009 while expenses associated with offering parking services has steadily increased,' the port said in a note on its website.

'It will continue to be our mission to offer high-quality parking services at competitive rates for our cruise customers,' the port added.
