Port of Burgas joins MedCruise

Port of Burgas JSC is the latest member of MedCruise.

The Bulgarian port was officially accepted during the MedCruise 46th  General Assembly held in Zadar, Croatia and brings to 21 the number of countries represented in the Mediterranean cruise ports association.

At the GA, the management of Burgas informed participants about the port’s development plans regarding passenger terminal infrastructure, including a project to refurbish Magazia 1, an old warehouse, into a second passenger terminal. They also explained the Bulgarian government’s commitment to make cruise tourism an integral part of the integrated strategic development program for the country bordering the Black Sea.
