Preliminary assessments showed no significant damage to port facilities or infrastructure, the port said.

All four port bridges on the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal are also back to normal operations.

Carnival Valor

As earlier reported, Carnival Valor's turnaround was delayed from Thursday until Friday, and the ship arrived back at Port NOLA early Friday, according to AIS data. Its abbreviated next cruise will not visit any ports of call.

Francine landed at Terrebone Parish, about 50 miles southwest of New Orleans, late Wednesday afternoon as a Category 2 hurricane, causing flooding rainfall, a storm surge and power outages for thousands.
