Cruise season jobs can be a flexible short-term opportunity or an entry point to some of the most critical industries in the Seattle region, the port's Linda Springmann said
Full- and part-time, flexible schedule jobs are available starting in April when the 2023 cruise season returns to the Port of Seattle.

Terminal operators and shoreside services that support cruise activities will kick off their hiring with a March 4 job fair at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center at Pier 66.

Approximately 10 employers will provide information and hold on-site interviews for cruise season jobs that pay $20-25 per hour.

291 calls and 1.4m passenger moves

The Port of Seattle expects 291 calls and more than 1.4m revenue passengers between April and October. Hiring continues through the course of the season.

'Cruise season team members welcome visitors to the region and help make the summer safe and successful,' said Linda Springmann, the port's director of cruise operations and maritime marketing. 'These unique jobs offer a behind-the-scenes opportunity in both the tourism and maritime industry. They can either be a flexible short-term opportunity or an entry point to some of the most critical industries in our region.'
