Princess plans 'robust' US West Coast season in 2022-23

Princess Cruises, a powerhouse on the US West Coast, plans 'robust' 2022-23 offerings to Mexico, the California coast and Hawaii and Tahiti.

Six ships, including the line’s newest Discovery Princess, will offer 78 departures on 19 different itineraries sailing round-trip from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver, BC. The entire Princess fleet is now equipped for MedallionClass Cruising.

Mexico

The season features Discovery Princess, Crown Princess, Ruby Princess and Sapphire Princess with 29 departures of four itineraries ranging from five days to 10 days.

Discovery Princess returns for a second West Coast season of five- and seven-day round-trips from Los Angeles.

Every five-day voyage includes an overnight at Cabo San Lucas.

Ruby Princess offers 10-day Mexican Riviera cruises round-trip San Francisco, while Sapphire Princess and Discovery Princess sail 10-day 'Baja Peninsula & Sea of Cortez' round-trips from Los Angeles.

California coast

Discovery Princess, Crown Princess, Grand Princess, Majestic Princess and Ruby Princess will sail 28 departures of 11 unique itineraries ranging from three days to 10 days, with departures from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver.

Included are popular ports like Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Astoria, San Diego and Monterey.

Discovery Princess sails round-trip Los Angeles and Ruby Princess returns with five- and seven-day round-trips from San Francisco.

Late night stays on round-trip cruises are available in San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver and Victoria.

Hawaii and Tahiti

The only cruise line to offer a full season of Hawaii round-trips from the mainland, Princess offers 21 departures from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver.

Crown Princess, Ruby Princess and Sapphire Princess will visit 13 destinations in six countries including Maui (Lahaina), Hilo (Hawaii), Oahu (Honolulu), Kauai (Nawiliwili) and five Pacific Islands, including Moorea and Bora Bora.

Fifteen-day round-trips visit Kauai, Oahu, Maui and the big island of Hawaii from three homeports — Los Angeles (Crown Princess and Sapphire Princess), San Francisco (Ruby Princess) and Vancouver (Crown Princess). Most voyages feature a late-night stay in Honolulu.

The 28-day Hawaii, Tahiti and Samoa voyage returns, sailing round-trip Los Angeles on Crown Princess with an overnight stay in Bora Bora and late-night calls in Honolulu, Papeete and Moorea.
