Travelers can choose from 12 cruise itineraries and 25 cruise-tour options that add a land tour to Denali National Park.
Princess ships will sail from Seattle; Vancouver, BC; Whittier and San Francisco for the May through September season.
The 143,700gt, 3,660-passenger Discovery Princess marks its inaugural season as the youngest ship in Alaska, departing from Seattle on the seven-day Inside Passage itinerary, alongside Emerald Princess.
Majestic Princess debuts along with Sapphire Princess and Grand Princess on the seven-day 'Voyage of the Glaciers' itinerary, which provides two glacier-viewing experiences on every cruise including Glacier Bay National Park (Vancouver-Whittier). Ruby Princess offers 10-day Inside Passage cruises from San Francisco.
140 departures
The 2022 program features 12 ports and five glacier-viewing experiences on a dozen different itineraries and 140 total departures. Most itineraries include Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway. Seventy-four percent of Princess Alaska sailings visit Glacier Bay (82 calls).
Travelers can combine a seven-day 'Voyage of the Glaciers' cruise with multiple nights on land in the heart of Alaska. With dozens of options ranging from 10 to 17 nights, every cruise-tour includes Denali National Park. Princess owns and operates five wilderness lodges located on the doorsteps of national parks and offers their exclusive Direct-to-the-Wilderness rail service that takes passengers from the ship to the Denali area and wilderness lodges in the same day, for more time to explore and less time in transit.
The 17-day 'Ultimate Princess Connoisseur' cruise-tour features two nights at each one of the five Princess wilderness lodges. 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of the Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge, located just outside Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, America’s largest national park.
Princess continues to enhance its 'North to Alaska program,' featuring Alaskans, culture and fresh seafood, including Cook My Catch, to Puppies in the Piazza, mountain climbers and Libby Riddles, the first female Iditarod champion.
