The ship will embark on a 12-night Canary Islands cruise on September 18, calling Vigo, Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Lisbon.

A seven-night Spain and France cruise will follow on September 30, calling La Rochelle, Bilbao, La Coruña and Guernsey (St. Peter Port).

On October 7, a five-night Belgium and Netherlands will include calls at Zeebrugge (for Brussels/Bruges), Rotterdam and Guernsey (St. Peter Port).

The announcement follows news of the cancellation of Regal Princess’ 24-night Canadian Adventure cruise on September 18, after Transport Canada announced a year-long ban of passenger ships carrying more than 100 people.

‘While we share our guests’ disappointment over the cancelled Canadian Adventure voyage, we’re pleased to be able to offer our guests even more choice of sailings from Southampton for this year,’ offered Tony Roberts, vice president, Princess Cruises UK & Europe.

‘We added these new itineraries based on the strong demand from U.K. guests for our 2021 ex-UK season,’ he concluded.

Bookings open March 2; passengers will be able to upgrade to an all-inclusive value fare ‘Princess Plus,’ which includes premium drinks, unlimited Wi-Fi and gratuities for an extra £35pp per day.

Canada 2022 sailings

A 25-night Canada and New England cruise will sail round-trip from Southampton on September 24, 2022 on Sky Princess, calling Boston, Rhode Island and Maine in the US, plus an overnight stay in New York City; it will then sail on to Canada, calling Corner Brook, Sydney, Prince Edward Island, Bay of Fundy, Halifax and Newfoundland.
