Riviera Travel is reopening its European river cruise product to the Irish market with immediate effect.

Riviera’s 2024 and recently-launched 2025 river cruise programmes are on sale to Irish holidaymakers, covering Europe’s main waterways including the Seine, Rhone, Rhine, Douro and Danube. Dedicated departures for solo travellers are available, along with newly-introduced themed cruises for 2025.

Stuart Milan, Riviera Travel channel director, said, ‘We’re eager to welcome Irish guests back onboard our European river cruises and tours, and want to thank local agents for all their support as we return to the market.

‘Our extensive range of products will ensure guests effortlessly experience some of Europe’s most incredible destinations.’

Plans to expand the programme

Seven European itineraries from Riviera’s touring portfolio are also on sale, with plans to expand the programme over the next 12 months.

The programmes will be bookable through the Riviera Travel website and trade booking platform, Riviera Agents. The Irish market will be managed by Vicky Billing, head of partnerships, with the support of a dedicated trade team.

All-inclusive

All river cruise departures are full-board and include return flights with regional airport options available at no additional cost. A superior drinks package and scheduled visits and tours are included, with excursions available daily. The cruises also comprise onboard lectures, port talks, entertainment and authentic regional menus.
