Royal Caribbean launches 2024 European voyages

Bookings have opened for the majority of Royal Caribbean International’s 2024 European summer sailings.

Seven ships over nine homeports feature, with Oasis of the Seas opening the season as it makes its European debut as an 'amplified' vessel in May 2024. 

All of the cruises are available to book, with the exception of Voyager of the Seas whose 2024 European cruises launch tomorrow.

Highlights include: 

Odyssey of the Seas

For the third year running, passengers can select seven to nine-night Greek Isles cruises from Rome to destinations like Naples, Italy, the idyllic Greek Isles of Santorini and Crete, as well as 12-night Holy Land sailings to the historic cities of Limassol, Cyprus, Ephesus (Kusadasi), Turkey, Jerusalem, Israel, and others. Passengers onboard Odyssey of the Seas will be able to see picturesque Mykonos, Greece, the ruins of Ephesus, and the ancient city of Pompeii, Italy.

Oasis of the Seas 

Cruisers can explore the Western Mediterranean on seven-night Spain, France and Italy cruises from Barcelona and Rome to destinations like Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Florence, Italy and Provence, France. It comes as Oasis of the Seas brings its $165 million roster of amplified experiences to Europe for the first time. 

Anthem of the Seas 

Anthem of the Seas will call Southampton home for the fourth consecutive year. Customers can choose from seven-night journeys to Spain and France or the Norwegian Fjords. Fjords and Viking history at destinations like Maloy and Haugesund in Norway feature, as well as the colourful markets of Bilbao, Spain. 

Longer, 11- to 14-night vacations will include spots such as Lisbon in Portugal and Vigo and the Canary Islands in Spain where passengers can venture out onto white sand beaches or observe European architecture. 

Serenade of the Seas 

Passengers can explore several continents in one of two segments that make up Serenade of the Seas’  274-night world tour. 

The ‘Ultimate Middle East and Med’ cruise starts in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, visiting Greece, Turkey, Croatia and more along the way before reaching Rome. In store on the ‘Ultimate Europe and Beyond’ cruise, starting in Barcelona, are destinations like Spain, Ireland, France and more.

Explorer of the Seas 

From Ravenna, Italy Explorer of the Seas traverses the Aegean Sea on seven-night cruises that visit a combination of beaches, forest-clad mountains and Mediterranean highlights, such as Argostoli, Greece, Kotor, Montenegro, and Chania, Crete.

Voyager of the Seas 

Voyager of the Seas’ 2024 Europe cruises open tomorrow. 

Sailing from Ravenna and Rome, Italy, Barcelona in Spain and Athens in Greece, the ship will operate a series of seven-night sailings to Greece, the Western Mediterranean, Egypt and Israel. 

Passengers will be able to retrace ancient footsteps, taste a variety of cuisines, absorb various cultures and more. The birthplace of democracy, Athens, Greece is on the programme, as well as Santorini, Greece, Marinieres Beach in Nice, France and the culture-rich Old City in Jerusalem, Israel. 

Jewel of the Seas 

Sailing from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Jewel of the Seas operates a variety of 11- to 17-night cruises calling at destinations along the Arctic Circle, the British Isles, plus Iceland and Ireland. Passengers will see views of the snow-covered mountains of Akureyri, Iceland to the White Cliffs of Dover in England, and they can relax in places like the geothermal Blue Lagoon in Reykjavik, Iceland.
