Saguenay has come a long way — to its 500,000th cruiser

Québec's Saguenay reached the milestone of half a million cruisers with Monday's call by Caribbean Princess.

This significant point in Saguenay's cruise history came during high season, with 56 calls scheduled over the next 54 days, until Nov. 3.

82 calls this season

Overall, Saguenay has 82 calls on the 2023 calendar.

'As we continue to grow, we become more and more proud of how much people love this destination and the impact it has on our growth,' said Priscilla Nemey, CEO of Promotion Saguenay. She thanked partners 'who contribute to promoting our city abroad, year after year.'

Cruise pavilion exhibit

During this very busy period, passengers will be able to see 'On a Shoreline Near You,' located in the International Cruise Pavilion. The exhibit aims to raise awareness about plastic pollution through art.
