During the sailing, combined helicopter flight and submarine dive operations were accomplished in the Canadian Arctic
Scenic’s 11-day ‘Peru to Panama: Along the Andean Coast’ voyage will see Scenic Eclipse explore more than three of the region’s nature reserves, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Utría and Darién national parks.

The vessel departs March 26, 2023 from Callao, Lima concluding at Fuerte Amador, Panama City with flights included to and from the UK to Peru and Panama, respectively.

Nature and wildlife

Stand-up paddle boarding will take place in the Darién Jungle and kayaking in the waters of Utría, which provide rich habitat for bird and other animal species.

Passengers will also be able to visit the wildlife refuge of Isla Guañape for the chance to spot southern sea lions, Humboldt penguins, Guanay cormorant or blue-footed boobies.

A guided walk in the Pacoche rainforest, a visit to a local fishing village and a session on how cacao beans are grown and cultivated in chocolate making – part of a plantation tour – will also take place.

The Peruvian Paso horse can be seen in Trujillo, Peru with Manta, Ecuador delivering expansive sea views

Scenic Eclipse’s discovery vehicles are an alternative way of exploring the coast; helicopter flightseeing tours and submarine tours inside Scenic Neptune are also available.

Archaeology

Visits to underwater archaeological sites are on the itinerary, contrasting with bustling cities along the coastline between Panama and Peru.

Design & deck 10

The vessel’s new deck 10 area features a panoramic bar, vitality pools and fully-serviced cabanas, while the Yacht Club has been reimagined for a more casual dining environment, conisting of wicker swinging egg chairs positioned to provide sweeping ocean views.

The all-inclusive itinerary is priced at £7,090 per person and includes private door-to-door chauffeur-driven transfers,  return UK fights, meals across a choice of on board venues, premium-branded beverages, a personal on board butler and all shore excursions.

Passengers booking to sail in 2022 or 2023 receive a complimentary £1,000 per couple Suite Upgrade Credit, redeemable for upgrades on Deck 6 and above.
