Seabourn's 2022 world cruise will visit 72 destinations in 28 countries on five continents in 145 days.

Seabourn Sojourn will depart Los Angeles on Jan. 11 and travel westbound, visiting Hawaii, islands of the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, destinations in Asia, Arabia and Africa before arriving at Piraeus, Greece, on June 6.

Return to Egypt

Among the highlights is Seabourn’s return to Egypt for the first time since 2014, with an overnight visit scheduled for Safaga (for Luxor) and a stop at Sharm el-Sheikh.

The full itinerary and segments of 22 to 89 days are here.

The voyage will include 20 overnights and linger late into the evening in 21 ports.

Caviar in the surf and evening at Ephesus

There will be three exclusive world cruise events for travelers who book the full 145-day voyage. In addition, two signature events will be available to all at no charge: a caviar in the surf beach barbecue at Ko Kood, Thailand, and an evening at Ephesus, from Kusadasi, Turkey, featuring a private classical concert in the ancient ruins under the stars.

Destinations include Sydney, the Great Barrier Reef and Queensland Coast; Japan's Okinawa, Kagoshima and Hiroshima, with overnight stays in Nagasaki and in Busan, South Korea, and three full days in Shanghai. Seabourn Sojourn will visit Hong Kong, overnight at Vietnam’s Halong Bay and sail up the Saigon River to the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.

In Egypt, a two-day visit at Safaga provides time to explore Luxur, and from Aqaba, Jordan, travelers can trek to Petra. A two-day stay at Haifa, Israel, is filled with UNESCO World Heritage landmarks Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Judea and Galilee, as well as Tel Aviv. Crete is among the Mediterranean stops.

Pre- and post-cruise land-based excursions are available to and from select destinations such as Shanghai, Singapore and Sydney.

Perks for going all the way

Travelers who book the full voyage will be entitled to a gala bon voyage dinner and overnight stay at the Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Rey prior to departure in Los Angeles, the three exclusive world cruise events and a world cruise president’s event. Those who book the full voyage by May 31, 2021, will also receive round-trip business class air, $2,000 shipboard credit per person in ocean-view and veranda suites/$3,000 per person in penthouse and premium suites, unlimited Internet package, private car transfers between home and airport, luggage shipping service, unlimited laundry/dry cleaning, visa package (US and Canadian citizens only) and a 50% reduced deposit (US, Canadian and Australian markets only).
