The voyages precede the vessel’s first winter season in the Caribbean and Central America.

Silver Dawn's inaugural Mediterranean sailing took place in April.

Casablanca, Cadiz and the Canary Islands

After departing Portugal November 9, passengers will spend one night onboard the ship before arriving in Cadiz, Western Europe’s oldest city, for an overnight in port. They will have the chance to explore the cobbled streets and architecture of the Andalusian city or dine on fresh seafood.

Following two days in the Spanish city, Silver Dawn will sail to Casablanca in Morocco where Moorish architecture blends with French-colonial and Arabic design.

A day at sea comes next, before the ship begins sailing the Canary Islands, starting with Arrecife, a historic fishing village on the coast of Lanzarote. A day at Puerto del Rosario on Fuerteventura – a city famous for its street art and sculptures – follows. Silver Dawn will then sail Gran Canaria, before making its final call in the Canaries, at the volcanic island of La Palma.

The ship then moves on to Funchal, Madeira – a sub-tropical island home to mountains, vibrant flora, plazas and world-renowned wine cellars – for an overnight in port. After one final day at sea the ship returns to Lisbon.

The itinerary starts at £4,300 per person.

Morocco and Spain

Passengers will spend a day at sea on leaving Portugal’s capital on November 21. The first port-of-call is Tangier on Morocco’s Maghreb coast, home to several UNESCO World Heritage sites and filled with Roman, Byzantine and Arab influences.

Malaga on Spain’s Costa del Sol is next on the itinerary, for beaches, Andalusian cuisine and the opportunity to visit the Picasso Museum, with next year marking the 50th anniversary of the artist’s death.

The voyage continues along Spain’s coastline stopping at Cartagena, home to ancient Roman ruins and Concepción Castle which dates from the Middle Ages.

Next is the Spanish city of Valencia, where there is nightlife plus art-, cultural- and culinary attractions before an overnight in Barcelona which also has UNESCO World Heritage sites. After two days in the city, Silver Dawn will sail to Palma de Mallorca, which dates to the 13th century.

The vessel continues to Gibraltar ahead of a final day at sea, before returning to Lisbon.

Princes start at £3,900 per person.

Both sailings include door to door private executive transfers, return flights, all food and beverages, butler service and shore excursions.
