This is in response to the extension of travel restrictions Down Under.

The 10 new itineraries range from Patagonia and the Antarctic to Mexico, Alaska and the Russian Far East. All will be operated by SH Minerva, which was recently floated out at Helsinki Shipyard.

Antarctica to the Aleutian Islands and beyond

Ten- to 14-day trips beginning in February will span from the Falkland Islands and Antarctica to Alaska's Aleutian Islands and Kamchatka, Russia.

Departures are set from Ushuaia, Argentina; Valparaíso, Chile; Callao (Lima), Peru; Panama City; Panama; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Mazatlán, Mexico; San Diego, California; Vancouver, BC, and Seward, Alaska.

These cultural/expedition voyages offer experiences like encounters with penguins, seals and whales; scenic cruising in the Chilean fjords; visits to desert towns, volcano views, the Nazca lines and Moche and Zapotec archaeological sites, islands with rich marine ecosystems and the extraordinary wilderness areas and glaciers of the north.

Travelers can explore by Zodiac or snorkel, kayak and trek, accompanied by expert guides.

Australia/New Zealand in late 2022/early 2023

'Our team have worked hard to create truly exceptional new itineraries with many varied discovery opportunities,' Swan Hellenic CEO Andrea Zito said. He added that while the company is disappointed it won't be able to explore Oceania in first half 2022, Swan Hellenic plans to be there in late 2022 and again in 2023.
