Direct flights into Budapest will commence in May 2024 with two flights per week from Gatwick and Manchester - a first for TUI River Cruises during a summer season.
TUI has additionally increased the number of cruise duration options available during the season, allowing passengers to select from three-, four-, six-, 11- and 15-night itineraries, adding to its existing seven and 14-night options.
Three new itineraries have also been added.

Three new itineraries
TUI’s three new itineraries include an 11-night ‘European Explorer’ sailing, calling Frankfurt, Wurzburg, Bamberg, Nuremberg, Regensburg, Passau, Linz, Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest.
The new ‘North Rhine Explorer’ consists of a six-night cruise visiting Frankfurt, Rudesheim, Boppard, Bonn, Dusseldorf, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
The three-night ‘Rhine Gorge Discovery’ travels to Frankfurt, Koblenz, Boppard and Rudesheim.

TUI Maya
TUI offers a three-night ‘Three Grand Capitals 2’ cruise on board TUI Maya calling Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. Flights depart from London Gatwick airport on October 11, 2024. Prices start from £690 per person.
A seven-night ‘Danube Treasures’ itinerary will also be operated by the vessel and involve cities and villages, plus Vienna’s palaces and Budapest’s bathhouses. Prices are from £1100 per person, with flights departing from London Gatwick airport on October 21, 2024.
TUI Isla
TUI’s 16-day ‘Icons of Europe’ itinerary presents some of Europe’s most popular cities, such as Cologne, Nuremburg, Vienna and Budapest. Prices are from £2750 per person on board TUI Isla, and flights depart from London Gatwick airport on April 28, 2024.
The 15-night ‘European Explorer 2’ voyage spans four countries, a trio of capital cities and history-laden towns as the vessel sails down the Danube and makes its way onto the Main. Prices are from £2470 per person, with flights from London Heathrow airport on May 27, 2024.
The vessel will additionally set sail on a ‘North Rhine & Netherlands Explorer’ cruise. This seven-night sailing ticks off capital cities past and present, a leading wine-making region, and a mass of museums. Prices are from £1450 per person, and flights leave from London Heathrow airport on July 26, 2024.
The ‘Rhine Gorge Discovery’ sailing is three nights in duration. TUI Isla takes passengers to the heart of Germany’s wine country and is priced starting from £850 per person, with flights departing from London Heathrow airport on August 23, 2024.
