In the UK, the TUI Airways flights will be available from Manchester and London Gatwick airports, and customers will receive a 23kg luggage allowance. Other airports are available but with flights operated by Lufthansa.

Chris Hackney, MD, Cruise TUI UK & Ireland, said, ‘We’re delighted to announce our plans for winter 2023 and expand our offering to customers by giving them the opportunity to experience the great TUI service for their entire trip…’

The line will operate eight festive itineraries in total, from five-night Christmas market sailings to seven-night Christmas Day and New Year’s sailings. Added Hackney, ‘We’re always looking at ways to offer more flexibility and choice to our customers, and we’re excited to expand the range of our Christmas Markets offering next winter.’

TUI Isla

TUI Isla will dedicate the season to operating the ‘Mistletoe & Rhine’ itinerary exclusively owing to its popularity, with an additional sailing added to meet the high demand. The five-night sailing will call Frankfurt, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Koblenz and Rudesheim.

‘We’ve listened to our customers and taken note of the popular itineraries which is why TUI Isla will only operate the Mistletoe & Rhine itinerary,’ continued Hackney.

TUI Maya

TUI Maya will also sail a range of five-night itineraries calling at some of Europe’s biggest Christmas markets. ‘Winter Wonderlands’ includes Mainz, Aschaffenburg, Frankfurt, Speyer and Rudesheim, ‘Festive Flavours’ comprises Mainz, Bonn, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Koblenz and ‘Christmastime on the Rhine’ takes in Mainz, Speyer, Strasbourg, Breisach and Mannheim.

TUI Maya's ‘New Year Rhine Celebration’ calls Mainz, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Strasbourg, Breisach, Speyer and Rudesheim.

‘A Rhineland New Year’ taking in Frankfurt, Rudesheim, Boppard, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Bonn, Koblenz and Mainz are part of TUI Isla’s programme.
